Ojo Fashions is thrilled to introduce ESSENCE, an exclusive wearable art collection created through a collaboration between Florida contemporary artist Brittany Murphy and Colorado fashion designer Stephanie Jones.
ESSENCE began with a painting.
Brittany’s original Essence artwork is filled with expressive color, movement, and energy. But instead of allowing the story to end on the canvas, Brittany and Stephanie envisioned something entirely new: What if you could wear the art?
And ESSENCE was born.
From Canvas to Collection
Brittany’s original Essence painting was transformed into fabric, preserving the colors, brushstrokes, and movement of the artwork.
Stephanie then took that fabric into her Colorado studio and began creating.
Using her signature Ojo Fashions design process, Stephanie transformed the artwork into a collection of bold, expressive silhouettes. Each garment is individually designed, hand cut, and sewn by Stephanie, bringing together Brittany’s artistic vision and Stephanie’s passion for handcrafted fashion.
The result is more than clothing.
It is art in motion.
Meet the Artists
Brittany Murphy is a Florida contemporary artist whose work celebrates creativity and expression. As both an artist and yoga instructor, movement is a natural part of Brittany’s world—making the transformation of her artwork into clothing especially meaningful.
Stephanie Jones, Colorado fashion designer and founder of Ojo Fashions, approaches fashion as an art form. Her designs are known for dramatic silhouettes, individuality, movement, and the craftsmanship that comes from making each garment by hand.
ESSENCE brings these two creative worlds together.
Brittany created the canvas. Stephanie created the silhouette. Together, they created wearable art.
