Steamboat Springs- always a great destination

I love Steamboat Springs, Colorado. This town never disappoints. It has the friendliest atmosphere, combined with amazing restaurants, live music, arts and culture. It’s got big city offerings, but with small mountain town vibes.
My daughter Daisy and her wife Alison moved here in 2021 when Daisy’s job offered her a promotion and transfer to Steamboat Springs. They love to adventure and found Steamboat a great town for young adults to live. They encouraged me to apply for a booth at the summer Farmers Market in 2022. I got accepted and was welcomed into the most amazing, friendliest market full of shoppers from all over. The support of my newly designed clothing line was phenomenal.
At the start of the ski season this year, Daisy fell on the ice skiing and broke her leg. The care from the staff at SOSI has been exceptional. Everyone has been so nice and helpful during this time.
Luckily, my schedule allowed for me to come to Steamboat to help Daisy through surgery and getting her around to her PT appointments, groceries etc.
Sunday, I took advantage of the free skiing at Howelson Hill. While most Colorado resorts are charging close to $300 for lift tickets, it was so refreshing to ski for free.
Alison and I took a well deserved break yesterday and enjoyed a few moments during happy hour at Besame. They have amazing craft cocktails and delicious tapas. The staff is very nice too and the experience was delightful. The snow continues to fall daily here. It’s like an extended holiday.
Now the only question is, will she still need my help through Friday so I can go hear Keller Williams play at Strings lol.
